Changes

“Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
Turn and face the strange
Ch-ch-changes…” - David Bowie

Change is constant and it’s happening now, whether we like it or not.

Like the rest of the world, I am feeling sad about the abrupt changes we’ve had to face since mid March. I am grateful for what I have, but I also feel the collective grief. It is real and it is heavy. This COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us, no matter who or where we are. With Virginia being on lockdown until June 10, 2020, and "non-essential" businesses closed until then, it’s time to adapt and think of creative ways to keep going. Here’s what’s changing at Soothing Herbals:

Sadly, the Soothing Herbals Apothecary brick and mortar location on South Main St in downtown Lexington is now closed. I just moved out of the physical space and am now set up for business from my home in Goshen.

All of my offerings (products and services) are still available online on this website, soothingherbals.com

Regarding products:

You can still order Soothing Herbals products online, the same way you’ve always been able to, and they will still ship out within 48 hrs. There is now an option at checkout for local pick up. Local orders will be available for pick up/delivery in downtown Lexington (please message me for details).

Regarding services:

All in person consultations and Reiki sessions are suspended until June 10 or further notice. However,
Distance Reiki is available as well as Online Herbal Consults via Face Time, Zoom or telephone.
You can now book your appointment with me online by adding the service to your shopping cart and making appt details at checkout.

So now that I’m all moved out of Main Street, I’ll be working on updating my website. Please stay tuned as I’ve been also talking with Dabney Lancaster Community College about offering classes and workshops via Zoom.

As always, thank you for your support in keeping Soothing Herbals alive.

We are all in this together. We are one. Sending love, strength, peace and healing to all of you during this uncertain time.
