Consults
Herbal & Aromatherapy Consultation
Are you interested in a more natural approach to good health?
Private Consultations are available in person or over the telephone. As an herbalist, I do not “diagnose, treat, or prescribe” medical conditions. Instead I work with my clients to develop natural strategies to support health, well-being and the body’s own healing process. My goal as a Clinical Herbalist & Aromatherapist is to help you create a holistic health plan to promote vibrant, optimal healing with herbs, aromatherapy and dietary recommendations.
The initial consultation (approx. 1- 1.5 hours) begins with an extensive intake in order to understand your current and past health conditions. I use principles from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Ayurveda to help in my assessment of the client. Tongue and pulse readings are taken. Recommendations for dietary and lifestyle changes may be made, as well as a recommended protocol for herbs, supplements or essential oils. Custom formulas may be included.
If needed, follow up appointments are available in person or by phone.
Reiki sessions are also available with optional Aromatherapy (See Reiki page).
Print out the above intake form, fill it out and send it back to the provided at the top of form. Or you can also bring it with you to your appointment.
$75 for your initial 1.5-hour session
$65.00 for 1 hour or $35.00 for 30 minutes for Follow-up session
$25 for Telephone consultations, $15 for Follow-up by phone
A Sliding scale is available for low-income families.
The cost of recommended herbs, extracts, supplements or essential oils is not included in the consultation fee. Prices vary. We offer our locally made and organically grown medicines from our Apothecary and can create a custom formula for you.

Waiver of Liability
Clients are reminded that it is their personal right and responsibility to make educated choices in their own and their family’s health care. Soothing Herbals LLC does not make these choices for the client but provides educational resources in the historic and traditional uses of herbs. Only a physician (MD) can diagnose, treat and prescribe medicines for illness. The role of the Herbalist/Aromatherapist in any healing process is to consider the client as a whole person and to consult the client concerning lifestyle, diet, herbal and aromatherapy recommendations.
